Volunteer Opportunities

Our Place is ALWAYS looking for volunteers – and is a fun meaningful place to work!

In 2012, here are the volunteer opportunities:

1.  Help collect food from local stores such as Shaw’s, Discount Food or vegetables from Black River Produce in Springfield – we can provide gas money for travel to pickup locations.

2.  Help with our mailings or newsletter!  We will be mailing our next newsletter at the end of January – call Amanda if you want to help sort and put labels on the mailing.

3.  Help develop the Our Place website and blog! We’re definitely in need of someone who can help get a full website online.   For now, we’re posting updates and organizational info to this WordPress blog but we’d love to be able to feature much more.   Are you good working with frames within webpages to make it easy for multiple people to update content?  Do you have any experience with computer conferencing?   If so, we would LOVE to talk to you!
